Mayor's Court Reminders

If you plan on appearing for Mayor's court and forgo posting bond concerning your ticket there are things to keep in mind.

Understand you will be making a plea towards your case.
You will be asked to pay a deposit on the fines of at least $50.
Payment plans are available and are coordinated with the clerk of courts.
Cases may be elevated to the Athens County Court for nonpayment or other consequences could occur.
Communication with the Mayor and/or the Clerk of Courts is key to resolving your issue.
