VILLAGE EVENTS

Barlow Field
With the improvements at Barlow Field, the Buckeyes are able to utilize another field during the spring for their games. Likewise, Barlow Field is also used not only for the village youth but also as an alternative practice location.
Village Easter Egg Hunt
Sponsored by local residents and the campground, eggs were filled with candy and chances to win prizes. The sponsors also do other events to help out the community and youth throughout the year.

Memorial Day Parade
Memorial Day every year, the village showcases the Veterans of all branches for their dedication and sacrifices. After the parade, there are guest speakers, music, and treats. The Veteran wall also proudly displays those who gave past and present.

Kid's Day by YTFD
Kids Day is also a blast for the community sponsored by various organizations and the York Township Fire Department. These men and women dedicate their time and efforts to provide a fun atmosphere for kids and adults alike! Keep track via social media for the next date during the summer!

Buchtel Jeep Bash/Third Street Bash
Multiple Jeep organizations collaborate for the annual event where proceeds are set aside to benefit the York Township Fire Department or, when need arises, a village family in need. After the Jeep ride, local artists and Nashville recording artists have been known to perform. Both events occur consecutively around mid-September every year.

Buchtel Trick-or-Treat
Buchtel offers trick-or-treat hours around Halloween where the Fire Department and Police ensure safe travels for trick-or-treaters as they tour the streets for candy.

Santa visits Buchtel
Every year, Santa has been spotted at the Mayor's Office to hear the children's wish list. Children are also gifted with bags of candy, fun, and a great photo opportunity.
